A Teenie Beanies party is fun for even the smallest of collectors. Teenie Beanies are members of the Beanie Baby family that the Ty Company produces. Teenie Beanies are a smaller version of the soft and loveable Beanie Babies and are available at certain times as the prize in McDonald’s Happy Meals.
Purchase pre-made invitations to the Teenie Beanies party, or design your own by using pictures of the child’s favorite Teenie Beanie, glitter and stickers. Attach these to cardstock for an inexpensive invitation. Since Teenie Beanies are of all colors shapes and sizes, any color palate will work for this party.
Invite guests to bring their favorite Teenie Beanie to play with during the Teenie Beanies party. Some guests may even want to bring the extra Teenie Beanies they have to trade them with other guests. This will encourage them to share and ultimately acquire the complete set; a goal for any collector. Not only will the Teenie Beanies add to the party decorations, but will keep little hands busy in between games, or when serving snacks. Make sure these Teenie Beanies make it back home as the guests leave.
Decorate for the Teenie Beanies party by hanging brightly colored streamers or crepe paper from the ceiling. Twist two different colors together and hang them down the walls to brighten up a dark corner.
